Infant killed in Maplewood car accident, 2 boys hurt, driver taken into custody

A tragic incident occurred in Maplewood where an SUV rollover crash resulted in the death of a baby boy. The driver is now facing criminal charges. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the crash took place in the evening, with a black Chevy Tahoe losing control on an exit ramp, rolling into a ditch, and overturning. The infant, identified as 1-year-old Revon Melvin Anthony Todd, was extracted from under the vehicle but sadly passed away later in the hospital. Another 5 and 6-year-old were injured but in stable condition, along with a 32-year-old man. The driver, a 28-year-old woman from St. Paul, is suspected of consuming alcohol before the crash and has been arrested on criminal vehicular homicide charges. Detailed information on their relationship with the other individuals involved has not been disclosed by authorities.
