Identified victim in fatal Amherst County crash
A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on August 9 in Amherst County. The Virginia State Police reported that a 24-year-old driver named Christhian Zuniga Castro from Madison Heights tragically passed away in the incident on Izaak Walton Road. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and the crash is currently being investigated.
