
Identified man hit by train in Dauphin County; accident confirmed
A man from Harrisburg tragically lost his life after being hit by a train in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The victim has been identified as 69-year-old Russell Williams Jr. It was determined that Williams passed away due to severe injuries sustained in the accident, and his death was classified as accidental. The incident occurred when Amtrak train 607, en route from New York to Harrisburg, collided with Williams near West Harrisburg Pike. Fortunately, none of the 35 passengers or crew members on board were injured. The event caused disruptions to Amtrak services for a significant portion of the morning.
