Identified driver causes fatal Denver crash
The Denver police department has identified Anna Laumann, 28, as the wrong-way driver involved in a tragic double fatal collision that occurred at the end of last month. Laumann was driving south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 on Oct. 31, following an incident where she drove in the wrong direction on Auraria Parkway. The crash resulted in a head-on collision with Jamie Kisting, 29, a bartender who was on her way home after finishing her shift at Atomic Cowboy restaurant. Both women tragically lost their lives in the accident. While it is uncertain if impairment played a role in the crash, the investigation remains ongoing, according to the Denver police.
