Identification of Tuscaloosa woman in deadly collision
Tuscaloosa police have identified the victim of a fatal car accident that occurred on Friday. Marchema Deshannon Williams, a 51-year-old Tuscaloosa resident, was involved in a collision when another vehicle struck the passenger side of her car. The incident took place at the intersection of Queen City Avenue and 15th Street around 7:13 a.m. The impact caused Williams' vehicle to veer off the road into the parking lot of O'Reilly Auto Parts, where it hit an unoccupied vehicle. Both drivers were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center, where Williams was tragically pronounced deceased.
