Identification of Sanger resident in deadly Fresno County accident
The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified the individual who passed away in a collision on Monday. A Hyundai Elantra and a Freightliner semi-truck were involved in the crash at the intersection of North and Temperance avenues, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The deceased, identified as 45-year-old Diego Gutierrez Mogollan from Sanger, was driving the Hyundai and turned left into the path of the oncoming semi-truck. The impact pushed both vehicles into an orange orchard at the intersection, resulting in the driver of the Hyundai losing her life at the scene. The driver of the Freightliner did not sustain any injuries.
