Identification of LAPD officer killed in Santa Clarita accident
The Los Angeles Police Department is mourning the loss of Officer Bailey Magana, who tragically died in a car crash in Santa Clarita over the weekend. The incident occurred early Saturday morning when Magana's vehicle collided with a utility pole, causing his Tesla to catch fire. Despite efforts to rescue him, Magana was found deceased inside the car. LAPD officials confirmed his identity on Monday and expressed profound sadness at the loss. The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation, with one unrelated DUI arrest occurring at the scene.
