Identification of elderly individual in fatal Meade County car accident
Authorities have revealed the identity of the woman who tragically lost her life in a car accident in Meade County last week. The incident occurred northwest of Union Center, where 83-year-old Sharon Herron was driving her car along a gravel road. Unfortunately, she collided with a 19-year-old driver, resulting in Herron's death at the scene. The younger driver sustained minor injuries and was wearing a seat belt at the time. Investigations are ongoing into whether Herron had been wearing a seat belt.
