Identification made in fatal motorcycle collision near Boulder

The individual who tragically lost their life in a motorcycle accident near Boulder has been identified as 75-year-old Leslie Powers from Draper. The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 p.m. on SR-12, about 14 miles northeast of the city. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a witness observed the motorcycle speeding as it approached a curve in the road. The motorcycle veered off the road, collided with a delineator post, and then came to rest in a rocky and wooded area. Leslie Powers was ejected from the motorcycle, sustaining fatal injuries. The crash is currently being investigated by authorities.
