I-295 North Fully Reopens After Falmouth Crash
The Maine State Police have reported that Interstate 295 north has been fully reopened following a crash in Falmouth that led to a complete halt in traffic on the northbound side. The incident, which involved three vehicles and a car fire near mile marker 10, resulted in all occupants safely exiting their vehicles, and prompt action by Falmouth firefighters extinguished the flames. The collision occurred at about 4:30 p.m. on Friday when a sedan driver failed to notice heavy traffic, causing a rear-end collision with another sedan, which was subsequently pushed into a pickup truck.
