I-15 Southbound Closed After Fatal Crash in Salt Lake City
There has been a fatal crash on I-15 Southbound at 2300 North in Salt Lake City, resulting in the closure of all lanes at Mile Point 311. The entry ramp is also closed, and drivers are being redirected to I-215. The crash occurred when a male driver struck debris on the road, leading to his death. Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and UDOT advises drivers to expect delays and heavier traffic in the area until the road reopens, which is estimated to be by 11:30 p.m. tonight.
