
Honoring Paramedic Killed in Accident: Woodard County EMS Reflects on Care and Compassion
A tragic incident occurred near Oakwood as a paramedic from the Woodward County Emergency Medical Service lost his life in a car accident while transporting a patient. The director of operations for the EMS, Chad Campbell, expressed his sorrow and condolences to the family of the deceased paramedic, Jeff Jones. Jones was described as a compassionate individual who dedicated his work to mental health awareness. The agency is being supported by ambulance crews from western and southwestern Oklahoma to ensure continuity of ambulance services. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is in charge of investigating the collision which involved a tractor-trailer.
