Former Whitefish Bay assistant principal found guilty in deadly collision

A former associate principal from Whitefish Bay recently pleaded no contest to homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle in Washington County. Rebecca Salomon, 52, is set to be sentenced in December after prosecutors agreed to drop a related vehicular homicide charge. The incident, which occurred in December 2024 near County Trunk P and County Trunk NN in West Bend, involved Salomon failing to yield at an intersection, resulting in a crash that tragically claimed another driver's life. Following the incident, Salomon was found to have been driving while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of 0.109, above the legal limit. At the time of the charges, the Whitefish Bay School District disclosed that Salomon was employed at Cumberland Elementary School but had been placed on leave earlier.
