Flight teacher recalls small plane crash in Fallbrook.

A small aircraft crashed near South Mission Road and South Stagecoach Lane in Fallbrook, California on Tuesday. The 72-year-old pilot, who was the only person aboard, miraculously escaped with only minor injuries and did not need to be hospitalized. Despite the dramatic nature of the crash, the pilot remained in good spirits and even maintained a sense of humor. The incident caused a small vegetation fire but was quickly extinguished by emergency crews. Traffic in the area was rerouted, but fortunately, no vehicles were hit, and the nearby high school was not in session at the time, preventing any potential student injuries. The hazardous materials team assessed the scene to ensure safety, and no leaks were found. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
