Flagstaff cop in deadly Butler Avenue accident
Early Saturday morning in Flagstaff, an incident occurred where a man lost his life in a two-car collision, also resulting in a police officer being hospitalized. The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m., involving a Flagstaff police officer, and emergency crews immediately responded to provide medical assistance to both individuals involved. Unfortunately, the man passed away at the scene, while the officer was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center and is currently under medical care. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation to uncover the circumstances leading to the crash, with Flagstaff Police planning to conduct their internal review as well.
