
Five injured in multi-car collision near Mill Avenue on U.S. 60
A collision involving several vehicles on the U.S. 60 in Tempe caused injuries to five individuals on Friday morning. The incident took place at around 4:18 a.m. on July 11 in the westbound lanes, specifically between Mill Avenue and Priest Drive. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred when a Bob's Barricade attenuator truck, occupied by a worker collecting traffic barricades, was rear-ended by a Dodge pickup truck. Subsequently, the pickup truck spun and was struck by a passing box truck. Among the injured was the pickup truck driver, who sustained severe injuries. While the westbound U.S. 60 has since reopened near Mill Avenue, the eastbound lanes remained unaffected. To view a map of the crash location, click here.
