Fatality in industrial incident at CMC Steel in Birmingham
A man, identified as 31-year-old Robert Carson Chambliss from Birmingham, was tragically killed in an industrial incident last week at CMC Steel. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office confirmed his cause of death as blunt force trauma. Chambliss was not affiliated with CMC Steel or a contractor, and entered the property without permission. He was pronounced dead on the site at 10:59 p.m.
