Fatality in County County collision

A tragic incident occurred in Custer County near Great Falls that resulted in the death of a man during a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 94 on September 19, 2025. The 41-year-old driver from Miles City lost control of his Jeep Grand Cherokee at mile marker 137, hitting a bridge barrier after crossing the centerline. He then veered off the road, colliding with a delineator post, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times. The driver was thrown from the Jeep since he was not buckled up. The Montana Highway Patrol noted that drugs and excessive speed might have been contributing factors to the crash. The man's identity has not been publicly disclosed, and he was the sole individual in the car at the time of the incident.
