Fatality in Broadway crash
An accident on Broadway on Sunday has sadly resulted in the death of a woman, as confirmed by the Knoxville Police Department. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. when a Ford Fusion veered off the road between Haynes Place and Caswell Avenue, striking a utility pole and flipping over, causing severe injuries to the driver. Despite being rushed to UT Medical Center, the driver passed away shortly after arrival. The Knoxville Police Department is currently carrying out an investigation into the crash, and the victim's identity has not yet been released.
