Fatal UTV crash claims life of 50-year-old Asbury man on Friday evening
A deadly UTV crash occurred in Jasper County at approximately 10:30 PM on Friday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident took place on County Road 260, approximately 7 miles northwest of Asbury. The accident involved a 2021 Polaris Ranger UTV operated by a 50-year-old male from Asbury, which overturned and ejected him. Sadly, he was declared deceased just after 11 p.m. at a hospital in Joplin. This marks the 70th fatal accident for Highway Patrol Troop D in the year 2025.
