Fatal Two-Car Collision in Franklin County
A two-vehicle collision occurred late on Friday night in Franklin County, Indiana. The incident on Causeway Road near the Saltwell Road intersection involved a 2015 Ford Taurus driven by William Pearson, 52, from Everton and a 2015 Mack semi-truck driven by Joseph McDonald, 26, from Connersville. Pearson, the Taurus driver, tragically passed away at the scene as confirmed by the Franklin County Coroner's Office. A passenger in Pearson's vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was rescued by emergency responders before being taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The driver of the semi-truck was unharmed. Authorities are still investigating the crash.
