Fatal three-car collision claims life of Ponchatoula resident
A Ponchatoula man tragically died following a three-vehicle collision on LA Highway 22. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon near N. Thibodeaux Road in Tangipahoa Parish. According to Louisiana State Police, the crash involved a Jeep, a Nissan, and a motorcycle driven by Caleb Milton, 28. Preliminary findings indicate that the Jeep and Nissan were traveling westbound with the motorcycle heading eastbound. The collision occurred when the Jeep attempted a left turn into a private driveway, causing the motorcycle to collide with it and then with the Nissan. Milton sustained severe injuries and later succumbed to them at a nearby hospital. The Jeep driver escaped unharmed, while the Nissan driver sustained minor injuries and was also taken to a local hospital. Investigations into the incident are still underway.
