Fatal single-car crash in Napa County kills six and injures two, authorities report
Authorities in Napa County reported a tragic incident where a solo-vehicle crash resulted in the loss of six lives on Sunday evening. The collision took place on Pope Valley Road near a vineyard at approximately 6 p.m. The California Highway Patrol informed SFGate that a minivan driver crashed into a tree while traveling south on Pope Valley Road. Six individuals lost their lives in the accident, while the driver and one other passenger were airlifted to trauma centers for urgent care. The victims' identities have not been disclosed, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
