Fatal rollover crash near St. Ignatius claims woman's life
A tragic incident occurred near St. Ignatius as a 28-year-old woman lost her life in a rollover crash in the Mission Valley. The Montana Highway Patrol revealed that the accident took place on McDonald Lake Road, north of St. Ignatius, at around 9 a.m. The woman, who was driving westbound, lost control of her vehicle, leading it to skid off the road, roll over, and break through a fence. Unfortunately, she was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the pickup truck, resulting in her death at the scene. Substance use and excessive speed may have contributed to the crash. The victim's identity has not been disclosed at this time.
