Fatal off-road accident claims life of teenage victim in Peoria as reported by police.
A tragic incident occurred in Peoria last Sunday involving a collision between two off-road motorcycles, resulting in the death of a teenager. The crash took place at approximately 3 p.m. on Sept. 28 in the vicinity of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Old Carefree Highway. According to Peoria Police, two adult riders and two juveniles were on the motorcycles when one vehicle rear-ended the other, leading to all four riders being thrown off. Unfortunately, a 14-year-old lost their life at the scene, while both adult drivers sustained injuries and were hospitalized. The second young passenger also suffered injuries. Authorities have stated that impairment is not believed to have played a role in the accident, and the identity of the deceased teenager has not been disclosed.
