Fatal Norfolk collision claims life of Oregon resident
A driver from Oregon passed away from his injuries following a collision with a pole on Route 272 in Norfolk. The incident occurred on Friday evening, when 60-year-old Kevin Scott was driving his 2025 Ford Escape on Route 272 near Bruery Road. According to state police findings, Scott veered off the road while approaching a left curve for reasons unknown. His vehicle struck a utility pole, overturned, and landed on its passenger side. Scott was taken to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the accident to contact state police at 860-626-1820.
