Fatal motorcycle accident on Good Hope Pike
A fatal motorcycle accident that occurred near the Harrison and Lewis County line closed Good Hope Pike, as reported by officials. The incident took place on U.S. Route 19/Good Hope Pike close to the Harvest Evangelical Methodist Church just south of Good Hope. The Harrison County 911 Communications Center confirmed the fatality involving a motorbike, stating that the driver lost control and crashed while attempting a risky maneuver. The male driver was declared dead at the scene. Emergency crews from various departments responded to the accident, and the road closures have since been lifted.
