Fatal motorcycle accident north of I-70 involving Colby resident
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon near Interstate 70 in Thomas County, Kansas, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The accident occurred around noon when a Toyota Prius was turning left into a private drive and was struck by a southbound motorcycle ridden by 62-year-old Duane Kriegshauser from Colby. Kriegshauser was taken to Citizens Medical Center but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Prius, a 32-year-old woman from Colby, was unharmed in the collision. The authorities are still investigating the incident, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
