Fatal motorcycle accident in Taylorsville
A tragic incident occurred in Taylorsville on Sunday night resulting in the death of a man after a car driver fleeing a traffic accident collided with a motorcycle. According to Lt. Aaron Cheshire of the Taylorsville Police Department, the accident took place at 5400 South and Redwood Road. The driver who fled the initial accident scene crashed into a motorcycle at 5400 South and Warrior Way, resulting in the death of the motorcycle rider. The suspect attempted to escape but was later apprehended by the police with the help of a witness. The incident is under investigation, with impaired driving being considered as a potential factor. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported, and the road from Redwood Road to 1300 West on 5400 South was closed on Sunday night. Further updates on this case may follow.
