Fatal motorcycle accident in Missoula County
An 18-year-old man from Stevensville tragically passed away in a crash in Missoula County on the morning of September 26, 2025. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. along I-90 near mile marker 118, to the northwest of Clinton. The young man, who was wearing a helmet, lost his life when his motorcycle veered off the right side of the freeway. The motorcycle was discovered about 500 yards away from I-90. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, lost his life at the scene. While speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, impaired driving is not suspected. The victim was alone on the motorcycle at the time of the accident.
