Fatal motorcycle accident in Glacier County
A tragic incident occurred in Glacier County on Saturday, August 9, 2025, when a man from Birmingham, Alabama, lost his life in a motorcycle accident. The 62-year-old was riding a BMW motorcycle on US Highway 2 near the intersection with Montana Avenue in East Glacier Park when the motorcycle overturned for unknown reasons. The man and motorcycle ended up on the sidewalk, and despite wearing a helmet, he succumbed to his injuries after being taken to a medical facility in Browning. The Montana Highway Patrol stated that neither impaired driving nor speeding played a role in the crash, and the man's identity has not been disclosed.
