Fatal motorcycle accident in Cottondale
Tragic incident in Jackson County, Florida as a motorcyclist lost his life after crashing into a semi-truck on Highway 231 recently. The collision occurred at approximately 8 p.m. close to the junction of Highway 231 and Dilmore Road. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 48-year-old man from Cottondale was riding his motorcycle northbound on Highway 231 and failed to decelerate, resulting in him hitting the rear of the northbound semi-truck. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist passed away at the scene, while the semi-truck driver remained unharmed.
