Fatal motorcycle accident at Lawrence roundabout
A tragic incident occurred in Lawrence when a man lost his life in a motorcycle crash at a roundabout. The individual, identified as a 50-year-old, collided into the center of the roundabout at Lake Pointe Drive and Clinton Parkway on Thursday afternoon. The man was taken to a hospital in Topeka, where he was sadly pronounced deceased. It was noted that he was not wearing a helmet during the crash. The Lawrence Police Accident Investigations Unit is currently looking into the incident, which marks the second fatal motorcycle crash at the same intersection this summer.
