Fatal Hoffman Estates crash results in woman's death.
A tragic accident occurred in Hoffman Estates resulting in the death of a young woman named Jenny Evaristo. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Golf and Bartlett Road. Witnesses reported that two vehicles involved in a crash veered off the road, with one hitting a tree and catching fire. Despite bystanders rescuing a man from the burning vehicle, they were unable to save Jenny Evaristo, who was later airlifted to Loyola University Medical Center and pronounced dead early Monday morning. The man rescued was taken to St. Alexius Medical Center, while the occupants of the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Hoffman Estates police are currently investigating the crash.
