Fatal head-on crash near Blanchard kills 2
Two drivers were killed in a tragic wrong-way crash on Saturday in Grady County. At around 8:40 p.m., a gray Chevrolet pickup was traveling east in the westbound lanes of the H.E. Bailey Spur when it collided head-on with a white Toyota Camry. Both drivers, identified as Dale Gibson, 62, of Paoli, and Larry Granger, 47, of Lawton, passed away in the accident. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol's report stated that the reason for the truck being in the wrong lane was unknown. The crash shut down the interstate for approximately six hours.
