Fatal head-on collision on KY 261 in Breckinridge County, as per KSP
The Kentucky State Police reported that a tragic head-on collision in Breckinridge County claimed the lives of three individuals, including a 1-year-old child. The incident occurred on Saturday evening on KY 261 when a Ford F-150 driven by 48-year-old Joseph Maynard crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 22-year-old Hunter Lyons, causing both vehicles to catch fire. Sadly, Maynard, Lyons, and the 1-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger from the Silverado survived with non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital. The crash is currently under investigation by the authorities.
