Fatal head-on collision on Highway 411 in Blount County
Two fatalities were reported in a tragic collision on Highway 411 in Blount County over the weekend. The Tennessee Highway Patrol released initial details of the incident, which occurred near Foxglove Lane. According to the report, a 2017 Volkswagen Golf traveling south veered into the northbound lane, resulting in a head-on collision with a 2018 Nissan Versa. The impact caused both vehicles to spin, with the Nissan flipping onto its roof. A third vehicle, a 2014 Ford Escape, then hit the front of the Volkswagen before coming to a stop north of the crash site. Both drivers involved in the initial collision, Blayr Corazzini, 25, and Angel Hume, 49, tragically lost their lives. The driver of the Ford escaped unharmed.
