Fatal head-on collision in Jackson Township claims life of 16-year-old, police report
A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday night in Jackson Township, New Jersey, resulting in the death of a 16-year-old following a head-on vehicle collision. Chief Matthew Kunz reported that the crash occurred just before 6 p.m. when a pickup truck traveling eastbound crossed into westbound lanes, colliding with a passenger car that subsequently caught fire upon impact. Immediate CPR was administered to the juvenile who was then transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, where he was pronounced deceased. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, with inquiries into potential charges against the pickup truck driver pending.
