Fatal Fairmont Crash Results in One Woman's Death and Another Woman's Arrest
A tragic incident occurred in Fairmont, Minnesota, where a woman lost her life after being struck by a vehicle on Friday evening. The Fairmont police were alerted to the accident in the 600 block of East 4th Street shortly after 6 p.m. Responders found a 64-year-old woman who had been hit by a westbound vehicle at the scene. Despite efforts to save her, the woman succumbed to her injuries. The 56-year-old female driver was taken into custody by authorities. The identities of both individuals involved have not been disclosed. The cause of the collision is unknown and is under investigation by local police and the Minnesota State Patrol.
