Fatal Crashes Claim Two Lives in Tuscaloosa County
A 19-year-old woman tragically lost her life in Tuscaloosa after being involved in a crash. Over the span of 12 hours, two fatal accidents occurred in Tuscaloosa County, resulting in multiple injuries. Early Sunday morning, a 21-year-old woman was fatally struck in a crash on I-359 involving two vehicles. Tragically, a second collision involving five vehicles occurred, leading to the death of the 21-year-old and injuries to five others. The incident is under investigation by the Tuscaloosa Police Department. Additionally, a 19-year-old woman from Tallapoosa County was struck and killed while crossing Jack Warner Parkway before the Alabama-LSU football game. The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident cooperated with authorities. The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is currently looking into this second tragic incident.
