Fatal crash with dump truck near Sedalia: two dead
Two individuals lost their lives in a collision involving a dump truck on U.S. 50 highway near Sedalia, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Missouri MM highway. The crash report states that a Toyota Camry was traveling southbound with a green light when it was struck by a dump truck going westbound. The victims, a 50-year-old man driving the Camry and a 48-year-old woman who was a passenger, both from Sedalia, tragically did not survive the accident. No additional injuries were reported, and the Pettis County Sheriff's Office provided assistance at the scene. The authorities are still investigating the crash.
