Fatal crash reported in Pickens County, South Carolina
A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred in Pickens County, South Carolina, resulting in one fatality, as reported by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The incident occurred Monday evening around 6:55 p.m. on Old Seneca Road close to Black Bottom Road. The crash involved a pickup truck traveling north on Old Seneca Road and an SUV traveling south. The SUV crossed over the center line, colliding with the pickup truck. Tragically, the driver of the SUV succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the truck driver sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed by authorities.
