Fatal crash on Wolf Creek Pass: Semi driver dies as truck plunges down mountainside

Colorado State Patrol (CSP) reported that the driver, a 23-year-old from New York, crashed a 2020 Freightliner hauling canned drinks off the highway's side near milepost 161. Authorities also noted smoke coming from the vehicle's brakes.
