Fatal crash on Wednesday's 10th Street accident.
A fatal crash occurred near the intersection of 10th Street and Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls on Wednesday night. The incident resulted in the closure of a section of 10th Street for approximately four hours. The crash involved a 2013 Ford Explorer that was speeding while traveling westbound on 10th Street and collided with a stationary car, then struck a truck moving north on Cliff Avenue. A 30-year-old female driver of the Ford Explorer sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, while a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the crash site. The other drivers involved suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities believe speed played a role in the accident, although no charges have been filed yet.
