Fatal crash on US-158 in Gates County leads to driver's death
In Gates County, North Carolina, a tragic incident occurred early Wednesday morning when a driver passed away following a collision involving two tractor trailers. The authorities responded to a crash on US-158 near Acorn Hill Road at around 3 a.m. The driver of an SUV was heading westward when they veered into the eastbound lane, first brushing against one tractor trailer and then crashing into a second one that was trailing behind. Regrettably, the SUV driver was declared deceased at the site of the accident. As a result, the road is currently shut down at Acorn Hill Road.
