Fatal crash on State Road 66 in Warrick County.
A crash in Warrick County involving a wrong way driver on State Road 66 at Epworth Road has sadly led to at least one fatality, as confirmed by Sergeant Todd Ringle of the Indiana State Police. The incident, which occurred around 5 a.m. Wednesday, involved a head-on collision between a wrong way driver and a driver heading eastbound on State Road 66, according to Warrick County Sheriff Mike Wilder. Despite attempts by other drivers to alert the wrong way driver, the collision still occurred. Crews closed both westbound and eastbound lanes at the scene, but westbound lanes have since reopened, according to Sergeant Ringle.
