Fatal crash on Route 17 claims two lives - WIVT
On September 8th, a tragic collision between a car and a tractor trailer in Nichols, New York resulted in the loss of two lives. The accident, which occurred on Route 17, involved an eastbound Lineage Logistics truck colliding with a passenger car, causing the deaths of two individuals identified as Frank Dempaire, 45, from Reading, Pennsylvania, and Elize Carlos, 45, from Newark, New Jersey. Thankfully, the driver of the tractor trailer did not sustain any injuries. Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
