Fatal crash on I-70 claims lives of Kansas locals
Two individuals from Kansas have sadly lost their lives in a tragic accident that occurred on Interstate 70 in northeast Kansas. The incident took place in Wabaunsee County on Monday morning. The crash involved a Jeep Liberty and a Peterbilt semitrailer merging onto the highway from an entrance ramp. Unfortunately, the Jeep driver, Cheryl A. Martin, 63, and her passenger, Perry A. Martin, 65, both from Junction City, did not survive the crash. The eastbound lanes of the interstate were temporarily shut down for investigation purposes.
