Fatal crash on I-195 leads to lane closures before reopening
Two individuals tragically lost their lives in an early morning single-car accident on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth, as reported by Massachusetts State Police. The incident took place just before 1:20 a.m. on the westbound side near mile marker 19.8, resulting in fatal injuries for both occupants of the vehicle. Following the crash, all westbound lanes were shut down at Exit 22 while investigations were conducted, rerouting traffic to Faunce Corner Road. The highway was reopened around 5:20 a.m., confirmed by state police.
