Fatal crash near Shawnee Mission Parkway, Metcalf on Saturday night.
Late Saturday night, a fatal crash is under investigation by the Overland Park Police Department. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. near Shawnee Mission Parkway and Metcalf when a driver, while exiting onto Shawnee Mission Parkway, lost control and hit a tree. Unfortunately, the right rear passenger, 24-year-old Narender Jalla, died at the scene. The driver and two other passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment.
